GamesCom Interview

October 7, 2012

Guilherme Correia from Deutsche Welle stumbled upon me at Gamescom Cologne in August and did a spontanuous audio interview with me about indie game development. In hindsight I have to say, after actually having released the game, I have the feeling that I matured a lot since then. Even though it’s just a few weeks ago. πŸ˜‰

Fin Friends Released !

October 4, 2012

It is done ! Fin Friends is now available in the app Stores worldwide !

We released it on Monday morning and it has been a crazy time since then, but I would hope for a bit more press coverage.

The feedback we got from the players so far is very positive. The feeling that we intended the player to feel seems to come across and I’m very happy about that.

I whish all players a lot of fun and highscores ! πŸ˜€

finally after a few years, some details about that ominous cancelled project called Redemption I was working on at Crytek (Characters, Vehicles) a couple of years ago emerged (through our former lead artist it seems).

Couldn’t resist to join the sworcery art jam ( #sworceryavjam ). Here the result of the hard work of the last couple of days.

retopo and model tweaks

April 13, 2010

After some extensive rendering tests I ran nto a point where I figured I need to approach things a bit different.
The way I will be doing it now is to create a nice animatable mesh and create the facial expression through a morph target. This way I will be much more flexible in every way
(especially texturing will be a lot easier πŸ˜‰ ).

After a complete retopo model rework and a lot of photo matching and studying reference, I think there are only some minor tweaks and refinements left so I can finally continue with the uvs and textures
