After some extensive rendering tests I ran nto a point where I figured I need to approach things a bit different.
The way I will be doing it now is to create a nice animatable mesh and create the facial expression through a morph target. This way I will be much more flexible in every way
(especially texturing will be a lot easier ).

After a complete retopo model rework and a lot of photo matching and studying reference, I think there are only some minor tweaks and refinements left so I can finally continue with the uvs and textures

Alicia Sacramone Project

here a quick update on the alicia sacramone model I’m working on.
Still not finished and needs some cleanup, but for now I’m going ahead with rendering and materials setup.

It’s been a few days of hard work (3 actually), but it definitely paid out

Although I whish I could change thousands of things I’m seing on that model that need to be improved, I’m a little bit proud I made it until the deadline.
